Having a Total Resource Campaign has been transformational to our Chamber in so many ways. The fact that we have 50 volunteers out in the community talking to our members about the Chamber has been phenomenal. So many more people are aware of the Chamber's programs, events and our many initiatives in Economic Development and Advocacy.
Another way the TRC has helped us is with our staff efficiency. Before the TRC, the staff spent countless hours looking for sponsors for the events which took time away from the actual event planning. Now, the staff can work to execute a professionally planned event and the sponsors enjoy the benefit of additional marketing and exposure in the weeks leading up to the event.
The TRC has also helped our bottom line tremendously. Prior to the TRC, we were generating about $90,000 in sponsorship dollars. With the TRC, the volunteers are selling $270,000 in sponsorships and about $80,000 in new and renewing membership dollars. All in all, it's been a great decision for us to have a TRC, and we couldn't do it without the support of Jason and his team at YGM.
